My name is Nick Charde and I’m a photographer, graphic designer, and multimedia artist currently based in Salt Lake City. I am interested in representing the world around me as I see and experience it. I like to work across a variety of mediums so that I can accurately address the unique challenges each new project brings. Life is a series of constantly changing circumstances; I believe the root of creativity lies in one's willingness to learn, grow, and adapt to them.
As a photographer, I have developed an interest in the structures, objects, and patterns that we come across in our everyday lives. In particular, I use my camera to investigate how colors, shapes, and lines interact with each other in our surrounding environment. My photography incorporates a variety of experimental techniques in order to explore the mystique of everyday spaces.
As a designer, I am interested primarily in logo design and branding as well as fashion and apparel design. I am drawn to bright, vivid colors, clean lines, and simple layouts; I also have a love of fonts, typography, and lettering.
